This firewall does everything you need and it averages just 12 watts idle. It has 4 INTEL NIC ports, which are proven to be the most reliable for use with pfSense (other NIC manufacturers have historically been problematic on pfsense) and the VAULT can route at gigabit wire speeds (we tested at 890 Mbits per second as you can see in the screenshots). The 4 NIC ports also allow you to configure different layers of security within your network for extra protection and the features of pfSense allow you to have enterprise class network control and performance for the price of a home router.
