What is the difference between "New" and "New Open Box"? A "New" item is new in its original, sealed packaging, and has never been used in a production environment. When we receive "New" items, we may choose to open a sample to test the items to ensure they are performing to standard. Once the original seal has been compromised, the item is now New Open Box.Do you offer products with "clean" serials? This is not an indication of the quality or condition of an item. What is the difference between "Refurbished" and "Used" items? It has been tested in our lab, repaired if needed, and guaranteed to perform to OEM specifications. During the refurbishment process we. Ensure the item is genuine and take necessary legal action on any identified counterfeit items.Perform a physical inspection for any physical defects or damage. Check internal and external serials. Run performance tests based on the type of equipment-for example, on a switch we run and record diagnostics, check all ports and transmit test data, wipe any data, set the configuration to factory defaults, and attach a test sheet. Test power supplies at full load. Test hot swappable cards and modules for full functionality. Once the equipment has passed testing, we repair any minor, exterior, or cosmetic defects. We then repaint or refinish items to restore them to their original condition, removing any dust from the interior of the item. If you have an issue with your equipment, our Cisco-certified technicians will guide you through a solution. Please do not write directly on the original box/packaging. We will ensure your products are packaged safely and securely. However, Inteleca is not responsible for any damage to items due to carrier mishandling.
