This a Cisco CUCM 11.5 Server (Cisco Unified Call Manager) running on a Dell Precision T5400 Workstation with VMware ESXi 6.0 The Dell Precision T5400 is a Server-like PC that is housed in a (Vertical) Tower case , which is more convenient for a Home Lab than traditional Flat (Horizontal), Rack-mountable Servers. This CUCM Server comes with 32 GB RAM and a 250GB Hard Drive. This Server uses Virtualization Technology based on VMware ESXi 6.0 Hypervisor Software (Raw Metal Virtualization Operating System) With Virtualization Technology a single physical Server can run Multiple Virtual Servers. This is needed to run the CUCM Software Suite, which includes the following components. CUCM Version 11.5 : - Cisco Unified Communications Manager Publisher 11.5 (PUB) - Cisco Unified Communications Manager Subscriber 11.5 (SUB) - Cisco Unified Communication Manager IM & Presence 11.5 (CUPS) - Cisco Unified Contact Center Express 11.0 (UCCX) - Cisco Unity Connections 11.5 (UC). As a Bonus, you'll also get a Windows 2012 Server VM (a separate VM within ESXi)!

This Windows 2012 Server can be used to configure a Domain Controller (DC) in order to provide Active Directory Domain Services for authentication purposes. Note : Please notice that although all 5 CUCM components are installed in this Server, the Customer is expected to do some basic setup/customization work. This customization work is explained in the documentation provided with this item. The CUCM Software installed in our Servers has a Non-Commercial/Educational License (or Demo License) with a 60 Days Validity Period.

In other words, it expires after 60 Days, after which it needs to be re-installed. For that purpose we provide a Flash Drive with all CUCM 11.5 VMware-ready Images (OVA/OVF files).

The Software can be re-installed an unlimited number of times! There fore, it can be used indefinitely! Before the system is re-installed you can create a Snapshot (optional Backup) of the current configuration. This Snapshot can simply be restored after the re-installation and thus the previous configuration will be put in place!
